Our story begins in Vulcan Lane at the site originally known as Kerouac Deli Café which was owned by industry pioneer Chris Priestly. Kerouac was one of the first cafés in Auckland to have an espresso machine imported from Italy.

          This cafe has everything you need. Top quality coffee, scrumptious food, friendly staff and very quick service. We use to eat here almost every weekend pre-baby. Looking forward to our next outing to Melba cafe.

            The headiness of freshly ground beans and perfectly brewed espresso will intoxicate and captivate your senses even before you enter. Great staff and menu choices that entice you to sample contemporary cabinet treats or a full-blown breakfast banquet for a group.
