You know spring is approaching when the daffodils come out! At the daffadil festivl you can pick your own to take home with you, browse the local art and craft stalls and take part in a bunch of activities. I love taking my daughter and it's a great way to celebrate the beginning of spring!

    This hugely popular festival starts with the traditional daffodil picking at Middle Run, a historic property in Gladstone. The town fills with people perusing the markets with lots of locally made goods for sale and the Wai art sale at the Carterton Events Centre. There’s also a steam train ride and plenty of other side events on for you to enjoy.
