This place looks a bit funny from the road, as it's not really where you'd expect to find a high-end fusion restaurant - but Chiko's is well worth a visit. The food is fascinating, and absolutely beautifully presented. Sometimes the flavour or texture combinations can be surprising but they usually work brilliantly. Chiko herself is a lovely and gracious host. This place is definitely a hidden wee gem.

    We tried Chikos for our Wedding Anniversary due to reading reviews on Localist...and it didn't disappoint! The food was amazing and well worth the cost.

              A great find out West! We live out west and I discovered this place from a friend who lives on the North Shore and regularly travels over to visit Chikos. The food is delicious and the service is super friendly. Make sure you save room for their reasonably priced and delectable desserts. I'm told they're made by a European pastry chef. #foodfave

                  Because it's the best restaurant in Auckland! And Im not just exaggerating here. I have eaten everywhere in Viaduct, city, 5 star hotels restaurants and no one can match Chikos!
