I had never had Yum char so this was a great experience to try many real Chinese dishes I wouldn't normally try. The setting was nice and full of Chinese which I always think is a great sign.   The staff were very accommodating and kept bringing the very tasty dishes to our table with perfect timing. Great food, good prices and fun atmosphere.

Great :)

Ok I say it every time but its true... I got a cheap daily voucher $40 for $80 of food so took the kids here in the holidays for a new unique experience.  Yum char is usually only breakfast & lunch but this place does dinner which is great.  Parking was hard to find so we ended up half an hour late and in a pay car park which was not cheap.  We were seated and immediately food was offered to us which we couldn't refuse since it looked so good.  I wanted the kids to try uniquely Chinese dishes so we got a lot of yummy dishes like pork steamed buns, prawn dumplings, crispy Peking duck, sweet & sour pork and the best green beans we've ever had in our lives ( I've never seen my kids eat so many beans AND request more!!!), also the legendary spring rolls. We gorged ourselves and waddled out very happy. Staff were wonderful and  the kids LOVED this new eating experience.  We be back.

Awesome! :)

Typical yum char at lunch. Good seasoning leads to plenty of flavour to all the dishes. We went for dinner with a group of friends and  it was a whole different experience. the staff were accommodating and  welcoming. The tea was a good brand and everything was clean. we picked the Crayfish and it was well cooked and full of flavour. The price was average and the quality of the food was above average.

Superb :)

Yum char is a little off-putting to me ,  i have spent far to much time travelling the world where English is not their strong suit and struggling to order food,  they dont know what I mean,  I dont know what im ordering,  the result usually a disaster or a fight.     So why in the world would I want to recreate the experience in my home town .     Well i wouldn't  normally but saying that,   recently I have got into the YumChar revolution in a big way -  thanks to this place which happens to be walking distance (and for me thats very close) to my office .    Whilst there are still lots of occasions where im not 100% sure what i have just asked for,  the food here is quick and very delicious and if your really risk adverse,  there is plenty to choose that doesnt look to threatening.   The dumpling selections are great.      5 or so selections,  some tea and always leave satisfied for a pretty cheap price for two.   Another point of difference -  despite dim sim meaning breakfast , lunch etc -  they do yum char for dinner - i think they are the only ones in Auckland who do,  thats quite cool .   So suck it up and give it ago fellow locals

Super :)

Amazing yum cha. Good atmosphere. Try the one of the fresh juices. The mango juice was excellent!

One of the better places for yum cha downtown I think - and not too scary for the slightly more conservative eater.

Always busy, a multitude of staff tempting you with a selection of yum cha. Reasonably priced and perfect for group lunches.

Neat :)

My pick for yum char in the city. There’s a lot of places you can go to for cheap yum char but if you want to pay for quality ingredients that you can taste, then China is the place to go.  As well as your usual yum char delights, they have a large variety of specialty dishes that you won’t find at other yum char restaurants. Their jumbo spring rolls are super awesome and if you’re brave try the chilled durian ice cream desserts, they’re the craziest little after lunch treats you’ll ever try. Oh, and they're open for dinner!
