I had BAD lower back pains just before xmas, and Dr Mac Rastkar came highly recommended. He is extremely professional, has a huge wealth of knowledge in spinal health and general wellbeing. After just a few visits, and following his recommendations my back is better than normal. I can highly recommend Dr Mac to anyone looking for a trusted, knowledgeable chiropractic doctor! A++++
I started coming to Dr Mac over two years ago. I moved to NZ from USA and had regular treatments on my neck since I had an accident as a teenager. Finding a new chiropractor was a bit daunting in a new place but a friend recommended me to Dr Mac and I’ve been very pleased with what he has done for me! He has not only kept my neck and upper back comfortable but I believe it kept me from getting sick during the winter months, I’ve only had a minor cold since coming to NZ. He has also been treating me throughout my pregnancy which I’ve been most grateful! I have had very minimal aches and pains that come with pregnancy; I’ve stayed very healthy and active throughout the past 9 months! I will continue to see Dr Mac for monthly maintenance!! I've been having recurrent headaches for the past 3 months. Had multiple visits to GP and was prescribed with pain killers mainly to mask the symptoms without having significant relief.I used to have headaches on a daily basis but now it has lessened to 2-3 times a week of milder intensity compared to what i used to have. I have completely stopped taking pain medications since coming to his clinic. My sleeping habits has significantly improved, my stress level has came down and i feel so much better. Before visiting Dr Mac I had never been to a chiropractor before, in fact I was a little dubious but had been recommended by a friend who had worked with him. Dr Mac was able to quickly diagnose my back problem, which I had suffered with for some time, and has given me ongoing treatment. His manner is both friendly and kind, and it quickly puts you at ease. I have gladly recommended Dr Mac to both family and friends and will continue to do so.
Dr Mac is fantastic! I have a gymnastic background and tend to be overly flexible so you need to have lightning speed to adjust me. Some chiropractors just can't do it but Dr Mac is great. I had a very painful lower back with pain going down my leg about 2 years ago. Following an x-ray I was diagnosed with a Grade 3 Spondylolisthesis. Regular visits over a few months soon had this sorted and I now have no more issues. I still see Dr Mac regularly as I have 3 kids and have been doing renovations and I find a "tune-up" every couple of weeks really helps me to function normally. Mac is very amiable and fits me in around booked patients as I have a bad habit of spontaneously turning up when I need a tweak and am in the area - with the understanding that if he's really busy, I'll come back! Mac has also seen my kids on one or two occasions when they have been complaining of ongoing headaches or neck pain. He is great with the kids and very gentle. Go see him!!
Suffering back and neck pain, had become part of my life until my first visit to Dr Mac. He explained fully what is happening with my spine and why my neck seemed to always be sore. We are now addressing my lower back pain (for which I had been taking anti-inflammatory tablets) and I can honestly say that I can feel positive progress and best of all - my pain is getting less and mobility and motivation is coming back! It is early days for me, however I appreciate his professional approach, his knowledge and obvious competency in his profession. I now feel committed to overcoming this debilitating pain and am glad to have Dr Macs support. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone with any back, neck or hip pain or problems. I have been regularly seeing Dr Mac at Chirolink in Greenlane for the past 4 years. Due to the nature of my work I suffer from back and neck problems and see Dr Mac for regular adjustments to keep me fit and mobile. My neck is my worst offender and when its out it affects my sleeping immensely but just one adjustment from Dr Mac and I am back on form again! I highly recc him as a chiropractor you will get the results you need to get on with life!
My search ended here. After a year in debilitating pain and a host of specialists I reached Dr Mac. After a brief consult Dr Mac was able to diagnose correctly the reason for the pain on my side. Referred pain from the spine is apparently common. However rheumatologists & a CT scan failed to pick up the problem. Dr Mac did it in just ten minutes. Six weeks later after an agonising year the pain is a thing of the past. Regular visits to Chirolink are now the de rigueur in our household. Thank You Dr Mac. Andriano
I have found Dr Mac to be exceptionally friendly and positive, and a very skilled practitioner. Since I have begun visiting his clinic I have almost no back or neck pain anymore, and am able to function more efficiently at work and in playing sports. He is very amiable, as nothing is too much trouble for him. I would glady recommend him to anyone in need of a caring and highly knowledgeable chiropractor. Top-notch service and a very easy to use online booking system, not to mention a very friendly receptionist if you prefer to make phone bookings. 10/10!
