Score a knock out one-two at the Chocolate Frog Cafe for brunch. Let Mum get her egg on before letting her wander around Palmers Garden World picking up little potted plants and seedlings to while away the hours in the garden.

When you are searching for where to go for brunch in Wellington for Easter you want to make sure you don't get hit with a surcharge. Luckily Chocolate Frog Cafe in Miramar isn't passing on the cost to their diners this weekend! Their smoothies and milkshakes are heart-stoppers (in a good way) while their big brekkies will keep you full all day. And they have cute homemade Easter bunny rabbit cookies for the little ones.

You wouldn’t realise there is an awesome cafe in the Palmers Garden Centre when driving past but trust me, there is. And you know it’s popular when there is a queue winding its way out the door waiting for tables. If you grab the eggs benny and a gourmet milkshake then you will need to waddle out the door.

The ‘Big Daddy’ makes all your problems go away. Combo it with great coffee and a gourmet thickshake such as the banoffee and you don’t need to eat for a week. All set in the beautiful garden centre. Bring your granny, mum, family, friends or loved one. They will all thank you after.

A cafe connected to a garden centre! Wonderful! Buy some plants, drink some coffee, eat something sweet! On a sunny day this place is great, but maybe aim for a sunny weekday not a sunny weekend as it will be swamped!!!

Great food, great coffee, very child friendly, proactive service, relaxing setting.  I recommend the kidney, mushrooms and bacon on toast!

This cafe is part of the garden centre and is always busy when I go there. That said, it's never hard to get a table, and great if you get one outside on a sunny day. I recommend the corn fritters with bacon and the mince on toast for brunch.
