Melt in your mouth goodness~! Love the dishes here! The booth setting gives you the privacy and the floor to ceiling wine rack is amazing. All in all love this place

    One of my all time favourite restaurants to visit when there is something very special to celebrate is Clooney, which brings a little New York to Auckland and is packed with style and great food. Head chef Des Harris seems to garner one award after another with good reason, and there is even a private dining area if you like the idea of a secluded spot all your own. We love you Clooney!

      By far one of the best meals I've ever had! The food was stunning, service was fun and friendly.  I can't wait to come back, just need another special occasion. 

        Amazing food, amazing service, and an extremely ambient environment. A good place for special occasions! A little pricey but worth it.

            Fantastic place

            Wow! The Creme brûlée desert and pork belly is to die for.

              The downstairs of Clooney has a little bar with outdoor courtyard which is perfect to hire for an occasion. Great wine selection (although not cheap) and very private from the restaurant. 

                As someone who is a fine dining specialist, i was blown away. Do the tasting menu with wine, best experience with food in my life!

                  As self proclaimed 'foodies', my husband I love to go out for dinner.  As a treat for my birthday I was given $200 worth of vouchers to Clooney - one of the premium restaurants on my 'dine out wish list!'.  As I was pregnant at the time, we decided to wait until bubs was born so that we could go and enjoy not only the amazing food, but also experience the wine matches that make a meal go from good to 'amazing!. We finally used the vouchers on our wedding anniversary, and it was soooo worth the wait.  We opted for the degustation menu, and are so pleased we did.  The waiter was incredibly knowledgable, and so discreet at not interuptting all the time.   I was quite dubious about one of the courses (carpaccio of ostrich) and had let him know my concerns.  He encouraged me to give it a go as apparently most people enjoy it once they try it.  Unfortunately, I was in the minority that wasn't a fan, but was more than happy to leave it at that.  However the waiter noticed, and to make up for it, he very generously arranged for an additional dessert course as he felt bad for encouraging me to try something that didn't end up being to my taste. We were incredibly impressed, and very grateful. Every course was a perfect explosion of flavour, texture and taste.  We spent over 3 hours getting through it all, and loved every moment. This is the perfect special ocassion restaurant, and I'm counting down until we can go again.  TOP SERVICE, AMAZING CREATIVE FOOD, and OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

                    Have to try this place

                    I always find the menu at Clooney's perplexing, but in a good way! I am always reluctant to try some of the more experimental dishes, but find that when I do, my palette is electrified! Amazing space created my Fearon Hay!
