Great steak. Lovely waitstaff. Rohan, the manager, is super nice a friendly.

    The perfect family-friendly option for Christmas Lunch. They offer an affordable set menu specifically designed for Christmas. Everyone loves Cobb & Co!

      I hate to put an obvious chain restaurant at the top of a Localist List, but really there is no better "family friendly" pub than Cobb & Co. I have the BEST memories of going to Cobb & Co as a kid. I felt like I was transported into the wild west and was a cowboy going for dinner and a drink (albeit usually a bright pink mocktail). They have an extensive kids menu, separated into toddler, little kids and big kids. They also do kids birthday parties. A real NZ institution that has been around forever, and with good reason.

        I live the food and the very friendly staff, everyone is so polite and very respectful, plus the food is to die for

          This place needs to be in my life more. I don't care if the colorful drinks were for kids. I ordered one. (how come there's only PlayStations and toys for the kids? Adults game too, you know.) I do the word finds on the back of the place mats.
