We stopped here on our road trip through the Wairarapa, located on a heritage site it really is unique to the Wairarapa. We got to see someone making horseshoes, the kids got to have a turn at printmaking and I loved seeing the old hospital. A definate must see!

We came to Cobblestones last week and had such a great time! Being a mostly outdoor museum it was great for my 4 year old to be able to run around and go on an adventure into the different buildings that make up the museum. It will be something we visit again and again!

This is a cluster of historic buildings that delves into Greytown’s 160 year old history with an original settlers home and stables. You can walk through the settlers house complete with chattels and see what life was like back in the 1860s. They have almost completed a new entrance building that will have interactive displays and better house the collection for better viewing. This place is enjoyable for all ages not just kids.
