Conch Records have just opened their back courtyard as Boteco, a South American eatery, and it's now my favourite spot to hang out when the sun's out. Great food, great music, great atmosphere. What's not to love? Boteco is open Wednesday through Sunday. Conch Records is open daily.

Unique cafe check it out

Not only can you buy great records at Conch but out the back is Boteco Conch, where you can settle into a sunny cabana and have a healthy South American breakfast or lunch. Try the twig tea with your meal, it is delicious and refreshing on a hot day.

This place has an eclectic range of stuff - coffee, records, knick knacks. It's worth a visit and a good spot to people watch Ponsonby Road people go by.

Cool collectables. Especially dunnyheads!

I'm a big fan of hot chocolate so when I found myself craving one at the weekend while walking along Ponsonby Road, I ducked into Conch Records to try somewhere new. It was hot and frothy as it should be and made with love and within minutes. A happy hot chocolate customer who'll most certainly be returning.

Great range of vinyl and a cafe attached to boot. Great way to spend a few lazy hours.
