Who wouldn't love Cornwall Park with it's fresh air, great scenery, farm animals etc?  It's a great place for a walk and to get away from it all.  The daffodils and lambs in spring are not to be missed and in summertime there is often free music.  We love this park.

These parklands are amazing in any season!!  Gorgeous old trees, expansive rolling hills, an abundance of flora and some animals grazing within this is a park which ticks all the boxes.  One of my favourite tims to visit is in he spring amoungst the cherry trees and Magnolia's in blossom and watching the spring lambs at play.

Even on days where clouds abound, this is still a great place to go, to relax in or go for walks when it's not raining. There are stunning views to be had looking out on the park on the Cornwall building, plus a little cafe and ice cream shop nearby to stop for a lunch break.

What more relaxing thank fresh air and a nice picnic basket, who doesn't love Cornwall park?

Every Aucklander loves Cornwall park, It's free and there is so many awesome walks and a wicked view when you reach the summit!

What a superb spot!  Great views.  Awesome restaurant does take away coffee as well.  Great kids playground split into littlies and older kids, flying fox and all the usual stuff (Parents if you're at the playground, nip across the road to Frolic cafe for awesome takeaway coffee and food).  Lean over the wall and watch the archery club.  It's a working farm so sheep graze alongside you and you can see the cattle up close.  That equals lambs and baby calves for the kids to ooh and ahh over.  It's great to stroll around the park, easy to do a circuit.  It's an old volcano so there's plenty of runners and cyclists doing hill work as well as plodders going around the base enjoying the fresh air, space and views.  The view from the top is one of the best in Auckland - Mount Eden is popular because you can get a coach up it, but One Tree Hill is probably better.  The information centre in the old house is great too - have a look around, watch a simulation of the volcano, learn about Maungakiekie's history.  Climb a tree, have an icecream, play cricket.  Loads of parking.  Did I mention there's free barbecues?

Beautiful park for everyone. Whether it be running, walking through the olive trees or relaxing its a stunning park, the Information centre is great to learn more about the park. Clean, beautiful and unspoilt. BBQ area is great for the summer.
