Reasonably priced costumes...and trust me, they have LOTS of them! From medieval to punk rock - it was a treasure trove of varied outfits. Although, the smell was a little 'grandma's-closet'; if you can - I would suggest running your robes through the washing machine just to take that 'buried alive' scent off it. The shop assistant/owner? was very accommodating too.
Costume Magic is jam packed full of goodness, don’t let looks be deceiving, there is much more to this place than meets the eye. Not everyone feels comfortable waering a Donald Duck costume complete with webbed feet, tail and cartoon head, and that’s ok, there are costumes for those who are a little less shy and who aren’t in it to win it too. Personally how could you not want to be the life of the party and go dressed as a teletubby - in a non creepy way?! My personal favourite is the giant tabasco sauce bottle, maybe not so great for shaking your booty but you’re bound to look smoking hot (did I really just write that?)

If your looking for a costume then look no further than costume magic they have you covered from jack to jill and cows and ghosts. The staff are very friendly and happy to help you out anyway that they can, there is a bond that has to be paid but thats the same as anywhere and you get it back when you return your hirage so no big deal (they can even put it back on your card), the prices are fairly good for costume hire BUT you have to get in quick pays to book in advance because they are SUPER popular!!!
I don’t often get dressed up in costumes but on the one occasion indie I hired a peace outfit from here for a p party the staff were only too happy to help to find something I not only liked but that fitted well and then proceeded to find me cool interesting accessories that went with the outfit. Not too expensive… $50 for hiragana over the weekend
