Crowded House has just had a total makeover, complete with cute white picket fences out by the entrance. What I love is that this is a place for everyone, from young ones in their 20’s, to shift workers, to woman going for a girls night out; it’s the ultimate watering hole! They have deals going the whole week including Rib Tuesday where you can buy two plates of ribs for the price of one!

    Crowded House is located right in the middle of the main road through town. It has a really nice atmosphere and is great for the girls as well as the guys. They feature upcoming sports events (including the All Blacks World Cup Games) whenever they are on and have big man-sized meals. Crowded House has ten TVs including a projector, six large plasmas, two 50 inch flat screens and even one in the men’s room! They really have thought about the needs of the man, and they won’t miss a minute of the game!

      While the Crowded House special meals aren’t technically under $15, you would be hard pressed to find a HUGE plate of juice dripping ribs and a side of fries for that price. But for just $20 you get all that AND a pint, which are usually $6 - 7 anyway. It’s a steal.
