Indie. Dirty. Hip hop. D.O.C is the hipster capital of Auckland. Dance here in your bindis, crop tops, chokers and platforms. You'll feel like you're in costume for a '90s party but these DJs play the Jacksons and Destiny's Child all night long, which is uncomfotably enjoyable.

    D.O.C is where the hipster crowd (and the odd crazy homeless dude) congregate on a Saturday and Friday night. Grungy, small and humming with 1990s RnB and hip hop it's an unlikely vibe but it really works. I love to head there to dance drink and people watch. 

      D.O.C has been keeping K Rd locals well-watered for several years now. And with a generous $5 happy hour on house wine, beer and spirits that runs from open till 8pm Tuesday through Saturday, this really is one of the best happy hours in town. Great music, great people and delicious toasties ($4 and up) - beat the regulars to the table out front and you'll find yourself wondering how the situation could possibly improve. Wait! They have a pinball machine!

          More bars in Auckland need to offer what D.O.C does! $5 drinks till 8pm! Had a lovely coopers here with some friends and my mate dined on a very good cheese and pineapple toastie. D.O.C gets busy later in the evening but right after work is my fave time to come visit and watch K rd speed past.
