Da Vinvi’s is a really nice little restaurant, with great atmosphere and food. There’s so much on the menu and it all sounds amazing, so it might take a while to come to a decision. It’s the perfect place for a romantic dinner for two. And there’s parking out the back, so no need to stress about finding a space.
What a neat place this is ! Good central location but parking might be tricky if busy. The food is good, maybe not quite as authentic Italian as we'd like but it was still very nice. We went on a Friday night and it was very busy - bookings are advised ! Lovely setting, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff help you to decide what to order if you're not quite sure what you'd like. Tables seemed quite close together - our waiter only just managed to squeeze past between our's and the next table - it almost felt like the next table was at our table. We heard everything said from our neighbouring table !! Very interesting and entertaining !!
We came here a few weeks ago as a group of 5 for a friend's birthday and it really was a great night. It wasn't too busy, but there were enough other people around to make the atmosphere good. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I had the chicken liver entree, chicken and mushroom risotto for my main, and I had to give in and try the tiramisu for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken livers were probably the best I've had in recent years at a restaurant and the risotto was perfectly cooked and flavourful. The tiramisu was just the icing on the cake of a delicious meal. The birthday girl absolutely loved her walnut based pasta (I can't remember the exact name of the dish), my boyfriend enjoyed his pizza bread entree (of which I snuck a piece) and pizza for main, our friend had some delicious looking chicken parmigiana (with a serving size so big she had plenty to take home) and the last in our party also had an amazing looking chicken dish. Two of the group finished their meals with macchiatos and were VERY impressed by how well the coffee was made. We all left very full and very happy - I hope to come back here again in the future!
