I have walked passed Daikoku and have always wanted to try this place as I have heard so many good things and yes the food was amazing, awesome service, staff was really helpful and atmosphere in the restaurant was great

Love this place, the food is amazing and service is outstanding!

Amazing food, service and staff and they have always been amazing to me and my family. #shoutme

Japanese cuisine like its meant to be! And the chefs are too playful while they make you catch that omlette they just did on the hot plate from your mouth! Lol!! Go in a big group to make a memorable experience.

We went here for our anniversary and what a great night out it was. The chefs are amazing, very entertaining to watch and all of a sudden scrambled egg is flying through the air :) You have to experience it yourself. I'm sure you'll walk away with your own funny story what happened with the scrambled egg after all :P And the YumYum sauce, OMG. It's so effin' delicious! Oh, and have you ever had fried ice cream? One of the best dinner nights ever...

This place is great. But if you don’t book you’ll miss out

I love coming here. The experience of having your food cooked on a hot plate in front of you, is awesome. It's delicious, and the yum yum sauce? YUM YUM!!

The cooks at Diakoku put on a fiery performance to be remembered! They had us cheering, laughing, catching food in our mouths  It was great fun!  It was a such a good choice to celebrate my partners birthday there. The only fall back is that the tables only seat about six people so we had to divide our party.

Popped in here for dinner on Sunday after watching a game in the Fan Zone. Enjoyed the theatrical aspect of it as much as I did the food.

There are other, probably more authentic Japanese restaurants around in Auckland now - but Daikoku was one of the first and they do what they do well. Going to eat teppanyaki is always a fun experience - bring a crowd and enjoy the show!
