Appalling - Negligent - Disgusting - Inept - Unprofessional If you actually want your animal examined, treated and maybe healed DO NOT use this Vet's After Hours service. EVER! I am seriously ill with a chronic pain disease and am not able to drive my injured cat anywhere or even squat down to examine him myself. I put my trust in an after hours vet and paid for my cat to stay there whilst being treated because I was unable to care for him at home. I paid $380+ for my cat to be PROFESSIONALLY examined , treated and looked after by this vet clinic and yet they failed to find a CHUNK OF WOOD imbedded in his neck!! They had him for 3 1/2 DAYS! I could feel it just by stroking him but apparently 3 vets examined him and didn't feel it?? That's actually MUCH worse than just 1 vet examining him because it sounds like all 3 vets are inept. Or more likely they were happy to take my money and not bother to do their jobs properly; after all, I couldn't go and check on him and they didn't call or email me at all so I trusted he was in good hands. Terrible service, lack of communication, incorrect diagnosis, cursory examination....and then the vet hung up on me when I rang to complain. Another staffmember told me over the phone today that my cat was "practically feral" - Charlie is a placid tabby and about as feral as a goldfish! However I guess I would be pretty "feral" myself with the equivalent of a KNITTING NEEDLE in my neck whilst annoying people put their fingers in my eye daily to apply conjunctivitis ointment instead of Removing the knitting needle; wouldn't you? Charlie's third eyelid was halfway across his eye - this can often be caused by irritation or damage to the nervous system - after I removed the WOOD from his neck, his third eyelid began to retract so I believe this was indeed the case. The piece of wood was also VERY close to his Brain and Spinal Column so things could have been a lot more serious had I left him IN THE CARE of the vet any longer. Thank goodness for nail scissors, tweezers and a magnifying glass! Shame on you Dairy Flat Vets!

Hey Gemma . Just curious . What was the name of the three so-called vets . Or the staff member who trans you and told you your cat was practically feral ?. I'm looking for a person who works at a vet service within that area . Her name is Sarai Leilli . She is a p head . If she was one of the examiner's I'm not surprised you got **** service . She owes me money she has loaned to pay her drug debts so I found out .

Shocking, inept and negligent. My cat was with them 3 days and they failed to find the piece of WOOD in his neck that was causing him great pain and distress and also caused his third eyelid to cover more than half of his eye! I was told to use conjunctivitis ointment on him and that his eye would improve in time - it improved Very Quickly once I had located and removed the chunk of WOOD; funny that! Apparently 3 vets examined my cat - that’s even worse than just 1 vet failing to do a thorough examination; how could 3 vets miss something I could feel just by patting him? The vet then hung up on my when I complained! My poor cat has suffered for 6 days when this should have been found 4 days ago! Shame on you Dairy Flat Vet - DISGUSTING!
