Denny's Family Restaurant - New Lynn

We've tried the moroccan lamb and the beef stake and were greatly impressed by it. loved my medium rare lamb which was really juicy and not too cold or anything. dont know why the reviews below are not that positive. we will be going back again, loved the service.

I used to live dennys but the food here has gone more resthome than restaurant. Food is not that great but the fact thats its open 24 hours most days keeps me going back. Love the desserts though.

Had dinner here last night and once again the service was good. The food was good as well. Was very busy so I guess that shows you that the food must be good.

We went here last night for my sis n law's 18th birthday.  We all ordered our meals, say 20 people give or take a few.  10 meals came out at once, just as they were finishing their meals the rest came out less one - mine a beef lasagne.  I sat patiently and just as the second round were finishing their food, I asked one of the staff about my lasagne.  2 minutes later she brings it over, pressumably they forgot.... my partner requested lambshank(s), as the meal only comes with 1 for $20 he requested to pay extra for a 2nd shank and was advised we don't do that you will have to pay for 2 meals ie $40, nevertheless he stuck with one & lucky he did as the one he did get the meat was warm on the outside and cold on the inside.. I then ordered a plain scoop of icecream for my son - no icecream 15 minutes later so again I asked and 2 minutes later out it came. Deffinately very average food and poor service wouldn't reccommend.

Have had some great meals here good on price great for the whole family.

I went here for lunch with my friend on Sunday and the meal was tasty and the price very very  affordable. I was very impressed by how friendly the staff were and despite taking awhile to choose our meals we were never rushed. Still alittle disappointing they don't allow you to split bills but the gentleman who served us handled it well. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for something hearty yet cheap!

The food is reasonably priced and the waitresses were very attentive.  I was a little disappointed to see that the vegetarian menu is quite sparse.

When I went here with a bunch of mates, we really had the most wicked experience we possibly could, mouth watering food with great drinks. This is a great place to tale the family for a nights dinner
