Don't be fooled by the simple menu and basic decor, Dulcies Takeaway serves up a great range of traditional fresh fish & chips, tasty burgers and other fast food favourites.
Tuck into the delicious blue cod or elephant fish with a side order of crunchy chips.
Locals and visitors love the generous portions, good value for money and the old fashioned style of serving up meals wrapped in newspaper.
You can sit on the outside picnic table and take in the beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets, but be warned, you may end up sharing your food with some very friendly seagulls!

For the best takeaway chips in Hokitika, there should be only one shop on your list of places to visit. Dulcies! There thick cut chips are delicious with Watties sauce and their famous fresh battered bluff oysters (when they’re in season, of course).

    The fish and chips at Dulcies is a fave of mine. The fish is super fresh the chips aren't greasy at all, and the service is swift and friendly. A great local takeaway spot!
