People don’t often equate Rotovegas with fine art, but damn they should start! Elim Gallery is a great little find amongst the trashy tourist trap outlets clogging up Rotorua’s main streets. Give your eyes and mind a treat and head into Elim and view their stunning collection of artworks.

    Finding good art in Rotorua that isn't your typical, cheesy, touristy crap is hard. But fear not, with Elim in town Rotoruians can now enjoy quality fine-art. Elim sells works by renowned artists such as Richard McDonald, Daniel Kirsch, Pam Lyons Montgomery and Brad Novak. The works still have a distinctly NZ vibe to them but with a contemporary edge, so whether you live locally and want to invest in a local artist or whether you are just passing through on holiday, Elim can definitely satisfy your art addiction.
