Serving up some of the best coffee in Auckland, locals love this homage to espresso culture in Britomart. No surprises then that owners Andrew and Erica Smart are fanatical about coffee. It's why the passionate duo created Espresso Workshop in order to spread their love of the beverage - particularly for premium single-origin coffee.

Determined to make coffee a true experience, Espresso Workshop in Britomart is the place to go for a great takeaway coffee or a quick work day snack.

Came with two girlfriends with a one-day deal voucher. Had great coffees and cafe food. Great service, great seating + decor. My friend now frequents here for the coffee! Made a fan out of her. Would love to come and visit the workshop more often! Try the coffee!

    Espresso workshop turns out a smooth long black. A good option for down near Britomart.

      Excellent staff who take their work very seriously. Great coffee and good atmosphere. Can get a bit busy between 8 and 9 am.

        The Espresso Workshop is, mercifully, more than just a name. Bite over bark this is the most reliably awesome latte-spot in the Britomart area.

          Superb review :)

          Pro: opening hours & nice staff Con: interior design could be better, but it's ok  The service was super nice and the coffee great. There was a minor mistake with the labeling of the pastry but they immediately made up for it - and even better! Probably the best choice in that area.

                I am rather short on words for how amazing my coffee experience was at the Espresso Workshop. Perfectly smooth, no burn, delectably creamy flavor. BEST cup for sure I've had so far in Auckland. I feel that the staff could have been a bit more friendly/attentive, but overall a very (VERY) good show!

                  I love chai lattes and they did not disappoint.  It wasn't overly sweet and was creamier then any other Chai i have tasted. It was heavenly :) It was quite busy but we were lucky to grab the last seats.
