The first time I went to Euro was for a work lunch. I was excited to try it because I’m a huge Masterchef fan and I knew it was Simon Gault’s restaurant. I’d never been before because the prices are pretty steep - but after trying it on my company’s dollar, I can say it’s definitely worth it! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. Plus, its waterfront location makes for beautiful scenery and a special atmosphere. I’ve been back several times since.

Restaurant of the month was glad to have Euro as one of the places selected. An amazing experience to try something new and it was well worth it! Delicious and tasting food that just melts in your mouth.

Charismatic service and big scrumptious oysters!

Great wine selection, amazing food topped with excellent service.

Quality food and wine top atmosphere

Euro is one of Auckland's finest - great food, awesome service and best Bloody Mary in town - you can tell a lot by the way someone makes a Bloody Mary.

If you want to impress your lady, take her out here, earlyish at about 6.30. Book a seat outside and watch the water setting transform before your eyes. As the sun sets over the harbour you will have the best seat in the house. Not to mention the best food your palette will have ever tasted.

This place is excellent! Ordered the bread as a starter to share, Lamb for main and sake brulee . Food was delicious. Service was very attentive, waiters know there stuff!

The service at Euro was brilliant with the waitress discreetly moving us to a quiet spot when my husband explained that it was our anniversary and we were finding it hard to hear each other. She made a huge fuss of us and we felt very special - goes without saying that the food was magnificent too of course

I was recently treated to the Chef's Table here, and WOW what an experience! The food was absolutely amazingly delicious, and it was so great to watch the chef cooking right in front of us. She was very personable and lovely to chat to as she was making our delicious 10 courses. My boyfriend can't eat garlic and onions, so pretty much every (savoury) dish was custom made for him (and I also got to taste – sweet!) which was most excellent. It took almost 4 hours from start to finish, so yes it is a splurge, but it is a great overall experience, that is not just about eating the food on your plate. Do it!
