Event Cinemas Newmarket

This is one of the best cinemas as it is never to packed. Theres plenty of room in the cinemas and its got a very good game room! I love where it is situated aswell

Great seats and leg room! Was very comforable. We were here one sunday afternoon and we were the only ones in the cinema but it was very relaxing and nice. staff were also veyr nice there.

I love it that Events have on the Chicks at the Flicks movies.  They make a great night out!  Gather up the girls and head on down, they hold them monthly (might be a break over Christmas).  Great fun for the girls you get bubbles, nibbles, goodie bags and spot prizes what more does a girl want.   Last night was Grease, not just Grease but Sing a long a Grease,  with everyone singing away to their hearts content ! Can't wait for them to do Mama Mia, bring it on I say!

Good flick, but the whole cimema experience was the best bit for me.

Best leg room and best range of food/drink (wine, beer etc) I have had in a cinema

Just been to see Footloose at their monthly Chicks at Flicks night,a great evening, with a glass of wine  (red or white), a glass of a VnC Coctail of your choice on ice, & you could even have your eyes done!  As we went in we were even given a goodie bag, then about 6 prize draws in the theatre, including a $200.00 voucher for Ziera shoes....all this for $25.00... a fun girl's night out - next month for all those Twilight fans it's, Breaking Dawn part 1!

The cinemas in Newmarket have changed ownership and been done up a few times over the years, and are now nice and comfortable, with lots of leg room between the rows. Having said that, the cinemas themselves are quite small, which can result in mixed emotions. On one hand it’s kind of cosy and nice to sit in a more intimate theatre, but on the other hand, watching big blockbusters or the latest special-effects extravaganzas is best done on the biggest screen possible.  Especially with the price cinemas are charging these days. Parking can also still be a bit of an issue in Newmarket, and the quality of the films showing at the theatre is always up for debate. As far as cinemas go, it’s not the worst and it’s not the best.

Get ready for a great cinema experience. Like all the theatres in this chain, they provide big comfy seats, an excellent snack bar, 8 screens, Time Out games arcade and full  Café /bar facilities.  Newmarket is no exception when it comes to a great place to see the latest movie.
