Big city, big movies!

 The Imax theatre is definitely grand and enjoyable.   I have been to this cinema numerous times and each time I find that the washrooms are very unkempt.  

I like coming here because unlike st lukes its well taken care of clean seats and management really cares. Have been to gold class to and the manager at gold class very nice gentleman took good care of us

Had the opportunity to watch Thor at Event Cinemas Gold Class. Gold Class is a great venue if you want to impress a date or give a special treat to the whole family. The seats for starters, a massive lazy-boys. Yep that’s right, you can recline back and lift the leg section and pretty much be lying position watching a big screen movie. It doesn’t get more luxurious than this. What’s more, there’s a fold-out table like on airplanes where you can place your drinks. At anytime during the movie, feel free to press the service button, and a waiter will run up to your seat and take your order. Talk about luxury. We ordered a burger and fries and some beers to go with our meal. It’s not the cheapest way to watch a movie, but man, you do feel like a million bucks and are way spoilt after movies at gold class.

Another fantastic movie theatre in the Event Cinema chain. At least here you know you're going to a clean, up to date theatre with all the facilities you could want.  Queen street cinema is probably the biggest in the group. It has Gold Class, IMAX - the largest screen in New Zealand, 10 traditional screens, Digital 3D cinemas, stadium seating and Time Out games arcade.  So grab your popcorn and go see a great movie today.
