A wonderland of endless things to do. 10 pin bowling, video games, dinosaurs, movies, junk food and tonnes more. There's so much going on here and always changing. Go on line and check what's on.

    I love to watch movies @ Event cinemas west city.

      Wonderful friendly team and nothing seem to be a problem to sort.

        Staff are friendly, and buying tickets are easy as, also the cinemas are kept relatively clean! 

          Went to see the new Res Evil last night and was MEAN!!!!!! straight in no one in the q took seconds to get our tickets and eats and then off to the movie and we got to sit ANYWHERE we wanted, simply the best. Update: WOOHOOOO TAKEN 2!!!!!!

            West to Chicks at the Flicks last month to see Magic Mike. The movie wasn't anything special apart from seeing Channing Tatum strip but the serice at Avent in Westcity was great. They could have made the sectioned off area before the movie a bit bigger with lots more seats but for the space they had to work with it was ok. The staff were really friendly and the night went well

              Great theatre to take kids to. As start of the holidays went and took kids there to see Ice age 4 and loved it. Service was great, food was good and its great how you get to keep the 3D glasses as well. Seats are all in good condition and its always tidy when you go to sit down.

                Stopped by here tonight to watch “what to expect when you’re expecting” n have to say the theatre was just like any other - ok not as flash or modern, but why drive all the way to town to watch the same movie ESP if it’s not an IMAX or mega screen one - they also have a bar n can take wines in with u at reasonable prices too - 2 Pinot noirs for $11 yes 2!! n it was good!!!

                  Went here today to see a movie with the kids. Unfortunately the seats are old, and stained, very uncomfortable. Quite cold too in the cinema. Also, prices seemed more expensive than Albany?? I think this would be my last choice theatre, unless they invested some money in it, and did it up

                    Event cinemas are a mainstream chain.  If you live out west and you don't want to travel, West City Cinemas will do everything you want them to.  It's in the West City mall, so you get free covered parking - loads of spaces.  There's 8 screens so you're bound to find something you want to watch.  The counter is long so it's unusual to find much of a queue, and there's a great variety of snacks to munch on (this is the West, after all).  Toilets are clean.  Book by phone or online if you like - Event cinemas have a great website.
