When my partner suggested we buy farro for lunch I was skeptical to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised as they basically have a cafe set up inside, you can order coffees and hot food to take away. Is this the new wave of super-supermarkets?

Farro is always a fave for a little bit of shopping, coffee and some bakery goods. The only downside is location - it's always so busy that you literally just want to get in, do shopping and get out - finding a park can be hard, and inside can be a bit manic when in line to pay for goods as it's a small area so it gets a bit cramped. It's a lso a bit weird how you order coffee and pay at the check outs - which isnt convenient when you just want a coffee. Apart from that, all the goodies on offer are great, the donuts look amazing and one day I'll try them. Service is always a pleasure too.

Saturday mornings at Farro can be a little crazy...to say the least. But it's all worth it for the beautiful produce, excellent service and an afternoon coffee. Next time you're hosting a dinner make sure to stop in for exceptionally fresh and spectacular ingredients...and you just might want to try to make it on a weekday!

Just try finding something that doesn’t appeal. Great range of produce - fresh meats, veggies and gourmet products.

They have amazing meat (tons of free range!), beautiful fresh produce, and some wonderful foodie finds. The rolled turkeys that Farro Fresh sells are perfect for Christmas too, my dad loves them!

I rest my case. (they also have a pretty decent selection of pestos, delicatessen treats, epicurean delights...)

The vast majority of the times I've been into Farro it's been especially to get coffee in the morning -- they're the only place close-by my work who do decent coffee.  However when waiting for the coffee to be made, it's the perfect opportunity to have  a little explore around the shop. The baking section (and the great range of WILTON products) always catches my eye, and the freshly made breads & sweets by the coffee counter always look amazing (I have to be honest though, I've managed to resist temptation so far so can't vouch for the flavours, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I cave!). So there you have it, best coffee within a 5km radius anyway :-) And a great shop to look around while you're waiting for your brew.

Only visit of you’ve got plenty of time on your hands - there are so many yummy things to look at and buy! Be prepared to spoil yourself!

Each time I visit I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the fresh fruit and vegetables on offer. Also the amount of free range pork is awesome.

I like the cheese around here and they have nice bread as well (though I prefer Paris Berlin for that). Usually  also nice things to try. - However, disappointed I can't find fresh yeast even at a place like this!
