Farro is always a fave for a little bit of shopping, coffee and some bakery goods. The only downside is location - it's always so busy that you literally just want to get in, do shopping and get out - finding a park can be hard, and inside can be a bit manic when in line to pay for goods as it's a small area so it gets a bit cramped. It's a lso a bit weird how you order coffee and pay at the check outs - which isnt convenient when you just want a coffee. Apart from that, all the goodies on offer are great, the donuts look amazing and one day I'll try them. Service is always a pleasure too.
Saturday mornings at Farro can be a little crazy...to say the least. But it's all worth it for the beautiful produce, excellent service and an afternoon coffee. Next time you're hosting a dinner make sure to stop in for exceptionally fresh and spectacular ingredients...and you just might want to try to make it on a weekday!
The vast majority of the times I've been into Farro it's been especially to get coffee in the morning -- they're the only place close-by my work who do decent coffee. However when waiting for the coffee to be made, it's the perfect opportunity to have a little explore around the shop. The baking section (and the great range of WILTON products) always catches my eye, and the freshly made breads & sweets by the coffee counter always look amazing (I have to be honest though, I've managed to resist temptation so far so can't vouch for the flavours, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I cave!). So there you have it, best coffee within a 5km radius anyway :-) And a great shop to look around while you're waiting for your brew.
