Garry and I started the Eatout.co.nz restaurant dining guide because we just couldn't find what we were looking for on the internet.  It seemed we would search through pages and pages of different web sites and never really found one that did everything we needed.

      beautiful meal at very reasonable price. nothing pretentious about this place, just simple and good. could almost believe you were in Paris (!)

          The food the service from start to finish was exceptional we ate we drank we laughed and didn't break the bank what a place I'll be back!

            Fantastic dining experience with excellent staff and chef/proprietor. Excellent pinot noir. Great neighbourhood restaurant.

              Our party of five worked our way through the menu of snapper with shrimps and mushroom in cream sauce, steak with mushroom sauce,chicken with camembert, chicken with tomatoes, plus salads and vegetables. After scraping the plates clean with superb garlic and cheese pizza bread, we could not resist the dessert menu which was equally as delicious...bread and butter pudding, creme caramel, and chocolate gelato surprise. Followed by the most devine French coffee, and friendly relaxed atmosphere, we had our best gastronomic night out ever. Even our two French guests were impressed and felt as though they had just arrived back in France, and didn't want to leave to catch their plane home. Our host Jacques will be seeing more of us soon. Most Highly Reccommended...a Must Do!!!!
