School Holiday fares wouldn't go astray please.

    Go and enjoy the water. I know it’s cold. But it’s a nice way to get to the islands.

      Take an sunset ferry to The Devo.

        Sunset ferry ride to Devonport on a Friday when the sailboats all have their spinnakers out - you can not beat that! That is precisely why you live in New Zealand. Get on the boat.

          Been on a couple of trips... Auckland Harbour Cruise is nice as you get to know more about Auckland, you get a free return ticket to Devonport, AND you get morning/afternoon tea... And been to Devonport HEAPS of times...

            On a nice summer day, catching the ferry over to Devonport is the best. I like to sit outside and feel the wind in my hair and take in just how beautiful Auckland is. Spend the afternoon having fish and chips by the water or exploring all of the adorable little shops before jumping back on the ferry and heading back to the city.

              Great way to escape the city life for a day of adventure.

                Try to get up Rangitoto once a year, it feels like you really are out of town

                  Climb Mt Rangitoto. Great day trip

                    Jump on a ferry and explore the Hauraki Gulf - wind in the hair under a blue sky always helps clear and envigorate the mind
