As far as family foodie experiences I has to add this place as my kids insisted. Its great even for little kids becuase it teaches them about mixing flavours - oils, sauces, meats & veges and they can experiment over & over at no extra cost. (I hear management growling at me …) What better way to teach young & old about the diversity of tastes and flavours… especially spices.. all or a very reasonable price. Well we love this place and you can always finish with a Mickey mouse shaped pancake!!

If you love DIY cooking then this is the spot for you. You can make your own concoction of chicken, beef, pork and fish and the chef will prepare it just the way you want it. Even the sauces and spices are of your choice. Did I mention that this was buffet - which means you can eat to your hearts content. Bon appetit!

Never tried Gengis, and the experience was awesome! Great food, and the staff are so friendly :) Good work guys!

Been to every Gengys in Auckland this is my favourite. Fast efficient friendly service great selection and hygiene is fantastic. Well done guys keep it up!!

This is a lovely restaurant, food selection of food options, helpful staff and good parking! Not to mention great prices

This is a favourite spot for my family especially on a cold winters night.   Its an  'all you can eat for one set price' place with twist... you create your own dishes from the huge selection of meats and veges you then add the sauces, oils, spices & flavours that you desire and  get to watch it being cooked on the huge round BBQ to perfection.   There a range of foods you can start with as an entree such as mini spring rolls, samosas, a salad bar and two choices of soup with garlic rolls.  I crave their brocolli soup.  Then comes the fun.  You can follow the blackboard advice or you can go wild (often with interesting consequences I have learnt) luckily you can have as much or as many attempts as you like without them frowning at you.  I feel quite comfortable now taking a mouthful of my creation and grimacing... leaving yet another plate of food at the table to start over. After finalising your creation and eating a plate of  food you're proud of, there's pudding which really is more for the kids (especially the mickey mouse shaped pancakes with d.i.y  ice cream).  There's sprinkles and sweet sauces galore. No wonder my kids cant get enough of this place.   To top off a great fun night out for the family is the bill.   Not too harsh after all that food.  We all go home happy.
