When your nights over and it’s time to go home - come here if you don’t know what’s good for you. My favourite bar in Ponsonby, where you’re guaranteed to get up to some mischief and/or fun with like minded scallywags.

          Looking for an open mic night? Check out Grand Central on Ponsonby Road and sit beneath the gorgeous fairy lights with a glass of your favourite ale. The talent is always exceptional but don’t let that scare you off, take your guitar and show them what you’ve got!

            Always a great and slightly cheaper drink in Ponsonby, happy and lovely staff !!

              This place is an absolute stalwart of the ponsonby nightlife scene. Fun bar staff and talented musicians make for an absolute go to place!

                Always has a great laid back vibe, feels like a house party and some amazing musicians. This is a go-to favourite.

                  Between 4 and 7pm Grand Central offer a two for one special that applies to any beverage. Yep, beer, cocktails, wine by the glass or bottle - you name it, they'll give you your second for free. Sit outside and watch the world go by, or order a meal from Bolliwood or Burger Fuel and down it with your beverages. Chances are some great local act will be filling the bar with jazz, funk or soul and before you know it it'll be 5am and time for close.
