Great thai food for small budgets. This place literally has all the thai dishes you can imagine. But their seafood pad thai takes the top gong award in my books for Hamilton. They’re always packed with locals too - no doubt word has got around that these guys are the bomb.

    Grand Thai Restaurant in Hamilton, makes a well, grand, selection of Thai soups. My favourite, of course, is their tom yum, as I'm a big fan of Tom Yum soup where I go. They serve up pretty decent portion sizes too so I don't ever really need to order anything else.

      We three had an awesome dinner there before going to the Super 14 Final last year. It was an easy drive down from Auckland, picked up the brother in law and went and had dinner. If you can handle it hot, this is the place to eat. After the Chiefs won, a few bevvies and then a sweet cruise home.

        The Grand Thai Restaurant is a great place to go out for lunch or dinner. I absolutely love Thai food, and here it's authentic and top quality. Lots of fresh veggies and yummy sauces. Perfect for groups and parties.

          They've got amazing thai dishes, and always have some fun deals going on. It's awesome. The food is marvellous.
