Grasshopper Modern Thai Cuisine

Great Thai food, lovely atmosphere, friendly service. I usually find thai food is pretty standard in most places but the pad thai is pretty good here :)

Grasshopper is a great place if you a more fancy atmosphere. The comfy seats near the entrance are perfect for a long catch up over drinks, and the cocktails here are great- full of lots of flavour and colour.

This is a great place to come for dinner and drinks with friends. It’s a central, convenient location in Auckland CBD, it feels classy and grown-up, but offers cheap (and good-sized) meals, and best of all it’s BYO. The restaurant is huge and spacious, so they can easily accommodate large groups.

You'll fall in love as soon as you enter Grasshopper! The purple, green, gold colours, absolutely delightful service and modern yet authentic Thai cuisine! It's 5 star in all respect.

The staff were sweet and really friendly, and the food was delicious - the perfect amount of spiciness! Had a delicious Thai green fish curry, which I highly recommend!

Great lunch menu - heaps to choose from (try the Thai Tastic 2) - with very friendly staff. Very spacious inside with modern decor. Would definitely come back again for lunch!

Good service in an upmarket atmosphere. Not your usual tacky Thai restaurant. 

No comments at all .... lovely food and environment and good value for the quality and the food presentation ! Except that the some of the staff are a bit not friendly and no smile. Probably a good customer service training might fix it ! But i do strongly recommend this place to anyone :-)

I love this place! The green lipped mussel starter made me love mussels (which I never really liked) and everything I’ve eaten there has always been amazingly tasty, fresh and beautifully presented! Awesome!!!
