If theres one thing in the world that I could never get sick of it's got to be the fried chicken wings that these guys serve! But the epic food doesn't stop at the chicken wings, they also serve huge sized chowmeins and fried rice dishes. For more bang for your buck I'd advise ordering something from their combination specials menu - always something to satisfy that hunger and affordable too!
If Whangarei is too busy and you just want to grab something on the run try out Happy Dragon Chinese Takeaways in Kamo. They’ll make you salivate with their scintillating saucy specialities such as combination fried rice, beef in black bean sauce and sweet & sour pork. It’s best to rock up as a family because their portions are large and you’ll want to try a bit of everything! Some of my favourite healthy options are the chicken with seasonable vegetables, omelette with a side of steamed rice.
