The Arts in the Park festival hosts loal artists displaying their arts and crafts for sale in the picturesque King Edward Park (Hawera). This annual event is always a popular destination for those wanting to pick up Christmas presents of the more creative variety.

Hawera Arts in the Park starting Saturday 5 December 2015 at King Edward Park, if wet held in the TSB Hub Camberwell Road, Hawera on Sunday 6 December.

Although a bit smaller in scale compared to other markets, sometimes smaller equals better and more intimate! For me Hawera has always been underrated with the things it can offer, same goes with this market. What I love is that there is a little kids tent for kids to hang out so they won’t get bored while the parents have fun shopping! It runs from 10am to 3pm so get down there and soak up some sun rays.
