Hilltop Tavern is the best place to go for live music, delicious brunches and unbeatable views of the Banks Peninsula. A short 45 minute drive from Christchurch, there’s no excuse for not going to Hilltop Tavern for a drink.

    I love the Hilltop Tavern. Not only do they have the best pub views in Canterbury, but their live music and entertainment never disappoints. Their sharing plates are amazing and include polenta fries, salmon bruschetta and calamari.

      Popular for their live music nights and amazing views of the Banks Peninsula, Hilltop Tavern has chickens roaming around the pub outside and delicious pizzas inside. Their pizzas may just be some of the best in Canterbury!

        The Hilltop Tavern offers stunning scenic harbour views, delicious wood-fired pizzas, great music and good old rural Kiwi hospitality. There is a fine selection of craft beer and cider and expect a hearty menu of pub favourites.
