      If you want someone else to cook your beef for you try the angus steak at Hopgoods: Pure Angus beef fillet, mushroom gratin, parmesan polenta & pine nut salsa verde. Yummy. Hopgood’s has a reputation as Nelson’s finest dining and lives up to the hype. Located on Trafalgar St near the Cathdral.

        Arguably one of Nelson's best restaurants. I was treated to a 'surprise' dinner here recently and I was very impressed with the unique menu and the quality of the food, not to mention wonderful service. A great wine and beer selection topped it all off.
