Located down a small side alley in central Nelson, Ikko Sushi sells a range of authentic sushi, sashimi, miso soup, donburi and other tasty Japanese dishes. Beautifully presented and made with fresh ingredients, there is often a queue at lunchtime with local workers wanting a healthier meal option.

Choose from a good variety of sushi to takeaway, or dine in with friends and enjoy some delicious hot meals including their popular grilled teriyaki salmon or beef donburi.

With friendly staff and quick service, there are loyalty programmes available for their many regular customers.

Lovely food.

    This is the best lunchtime Sushi bar in Nelson, located in the Marble Arch arcade off Hardy St. Get there early as there is always a queue, and if you're late you'll miss out on their authentic sushi, sashimi and miso soup, Their food is tasty, good value and full of flavour.

      There’s always a queue here at lunchtime for their take away sushi and miso soup - delicious, fresh, clean and healthy. Ikko is hidden away in a little arcade by the Montgomery Square car park but it’s well worth searching for. Gwt in quick at lunchtimes though as they sell out fast.
