Great place for a big group! Very friendly staff, oriental decor, fresh food. The food all comes out like a piece of art on a plate. Recommend you try the sparkling sake (or mia). The menu was confusing but we got there in the end.

Came here for a work dinner outing,  as you enter you are warmly welcomed into an all very authentic place!!  With the dim lighting surrounded by Japanese structures and instruments! After trying to figure out the all-confusing menu, we ordered sets of Japanese style tapas and The food is amazing!

  As soon as you walk in the door, you feel like youve been transported to japan. The staff are incredibly welcoming and instantly attend to anything you need. The menu is incredibly varied, and youll find something to satisfy everyone on it. (The soft shell crab is absolutely amazing!!) each dish is a piece of art in its own right, and i really do really recommend taking your time and make a night of it, admiring and fully taking in all thats on offer. To add one last level of amazing to the night, without giving too much away, the staff put on some mindblowing entertainment. This place really is amazing

Every plate is a piece of art in its own right and it is so good to eat too.  I can't wait to go back and try more things!

Love the Japanese from here, also the show that comes with it is very intriguing and somewhat deafening. 

Best Japanese food I have ever had in Auckland. They have a very creative menu, they use very fresh ingredients, they are the best. The Japanese waiters do not understand English very well, but never mind, they are Japanese.

I went here for birthday dinner... A wonderful experience!!! I'm going back as soon as I can!
