The Iona Dairy is THE place to go for the biggest an best ice creams in town. I love to get a waffle cone (which only costs a little bit extra) and have a scoop of salted caramel ice-cream, with a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice-cream, you wouldn’t think they would go together but they totally do! You literally only need some spare change to get a massive treat to curb your sweet tooth!
Iona Dairy is the very epitome of ice cream heaven. From the outside it may look like your average run-of-the-mill dairy, but inside it has many different flavours; some that I’ve never even heard of before! My favourite will always be Cookies & Cream, but they have a Maple flavour that I tried not too long ago and I thought I had found a new love! The value for money is really worth it, the ice cream really gets packed on top of the cone!
This dairy has the best ice creams available in New Plymouth, ask anyone around and they will agree with me. It gives frozen yoghurt shops a run for their money with so many flavours to choose from! Any they are amazingly cheap as well, you could get a single, double or even triple scoop with chocolate sauce on top, the possibilities are endless!
