With a wrought iron look and feel from the tables to the bathroom, Ironique is totally unique. They make the best French toast I’ve had anywhere, the food is always good and the coffee is great. Enjoy a seat inside the cosy rustic café and admire the iron decorations hanging from the ceiling, or enjoy a seat at a wrought iron table outside in the pretty courtyard surrounded by greenery and birds.
This place is fabulous as it has great food, healthy options and great service. I love the bathroom and the unique atmosphere of the place. I ordered a cabinet salad and asked for less capsicum (despite it already being made) and they happily did so. The uniform is so different and the courtyard is to die for! We had a celebratory lunch for the end of school there and they allowed us to move the tables around to suit our large group! The bathrooms are like walking into Narnia! Ironique is well-known for its breakfast fare and tasty brunch treats. But the reason it makes this list is for more than the top quality menu items alone, it's also because of the fact that it has an incredible courtyard where you can easily while away a few luxurious hours on a lazy Sunday. As a foodie fan who tries to seek out the best bacon and eggs a city has to offer, I love the fact that Ironique does this simple breakfast dish so well. Plus, extra points are gained for the fact that they are sometimes known for offering up B 'n' E specials before 11am. Did someone say bacon, eggs and a regular coffee for just $13?
