Jaan Turkish Cafe & Takeaway

Went for dinner here last night and what an incredible hidden away beauty! Amazing views from the upstairs area and wonderful atmosphere, wait staff were excellent. Had the mezze platter, fish of the day and Mediterranean pizza. All was delicious (especially the sun dried tomato hummus YUM!) and the little extra details in each meal made for top marks! Had a delay with the pizza but it was well worth the wait! The staff were soooo apologetic about the delay and we received a complimentary dessert. What incredible goodwill! Blown away, not enough businesses appreciate their customers in such a way anymore. Will definitely be back for seconds!

one of our all time favorite restaurants! their menu is made of a variety of Mediterranean dishes! their kebabs and woodfired pizzas r excellent! love the authentic atmosphere and nice music. great service always! lots of smiles and happy people. a very welcoming place with delicious food!

We like this place because it’s clean, healthy and tasty. It’s averagely priced and kid friendly. It does t have a huge atmosphere but the sauces and flavored of the dishes instantly make up for it!

Spotted this place last week and was attracted by the authenticity of black gammon being played outside. Got take away from here on New years day when everywhere else was closed. Tasty but small pizzas a bit on the pricey side, chips were good too.

I think in NZ we're used to the kebab shop style of Turkish but Jaan's trying to kick it up a notch. All kudos to them but make sure you're ready to really appreciate the extra you might feel you're paying for.

Absolutely delicious Mediterranean food. Highly recommend the chicken kebab. Takeaway food is often different to the dine in, but can vouch for the takeaways and would assume the dine in is of the same quality standard.
