Situated right on the Waterfront underneath (and part of) Kermadec, Tiki Hut is a hidden gem of an 'outdoor' mini-club, playing some truly great house music. Heaters for the winter but you won't need them as the dancing & fun starts around 10.30pm weekends - Saturday nights are a must-do, as Tina & Phil spin the best tunes with a real Ibiza club flavour - trust me, I know...  ;-) See you there this Saturday!

    Kermadec is a great place to start for a meal and drink before heading down to the viaduct bars. Beautiful food, beautiful view, great service.

      We had a set menu for lunch as we had a big group - it was fantastic! Great selection of food and plenty for everyone. When I saw other peoples food coming out from the main menu it looks just as good as our set menu.  The food was fresh, great flavours and good sized.

          Freshest oysters I’ve had. No smell at all, very plump and juicy. Surprisingly good value (dozen oysters among other things with the $88 seafood platter)

                  Kermadec is almost iconic in Auckland and while I’m not raving about it, it wasn’t too bad. The plating is amazing - straight out of a magazine, but the flavours can be a little confused. I wouldn’t recommend the degustation (there’s better options for the price), but I think it would be ok if you just order a main & dessert. A little sad to walk away underwhelmed. Try it for yourself though, the location & views make it a worth while night out anyway.
