If you’re after Indian or Chinese, it doesn’t matter because Kingtiger does it all. Their chicken curries are some of the best on the West Coast and don’t forget to order some delicious naan to go with!

    There’s one thing that’s hard to beat at Kingtiger … their happy hour! Aside from the fact they serve Indian food AND Chinese food, Kingtiger is famous for their $7 sweet and sour pork dish and $5 wine!

      For sweet and sour soup you'll be thinking about for a long time after you've had it, Kingtiger is the place to go. I love the vegetarian soup with it's lashings of tofu.

        Kingtiger is superb. The flavours and types of food here is unique as well as vast. I usually head down during happy hour when it's not just the drinks that are cheap! A great spot from the escaping the cold Franz Josef winters.

          Craving Indian, Thai, Chinese or all three? King Tiger Eastern Eating House and Bar is a master of both South and East Asian cuisines, which makes it one of my favourite restaurants! I usually go for the Chinese set menu or if I’m with a plus one then I settle for the Kingtiger platter.

            This Thai - Indian - Chinese restaurant in Franz Josef is a fun place to have dinner. This Eastern Eating House has it covered for anyone craving a taste of Asia. The staff are friendly and the place is always busy, but there will always be a table for you if you just come in from off the street.

              After a hard day quad biking and spaing and exploring, you'll need to get a delicious meal into you! Kingtiger offers the most delicious cuisine from South and East Asia: spring rolls, edamame, dumplings, chicken and cashews, samosas, tandoori mushrooms and onion bhaji - oh my! The decor is fun and they offer free WiFi, perfect for a tired traveler wanting to upload all the photos of the day's adventures online.
