Kwang Chow is a popular Chinese restaurant and takeaway located on the busy Mount Maunganui Road. Open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner, their popular all you can eat buffet offers a good range of tasty Chinese dishes with desserts and soft drinks included.

With reasonable prices and friendly staff, the restaurant is suitable for larger groups, however booking is recommended as they do get booked out on a regular basis.

If you aren't lucky enough to get a booking, then they also have a full takeaway menu available.

Fill your boots – Kwang Chow Chinese licensed restaurant’s smorgasbord has got to offer the best-value nosh in The Bay and it has been around for 20 years so must be doing it right? There are eighteen takeaway dishes to choose from, you can eat-in from the A La Carte menu, or fill up as many times as you like from the smorgasbord. There are salads, soup and Chinese dishes available throughout the day. As dusk falls the seafood dishes and hot roasts come out – amongst this feast the honey barbeque pork gets my pick for much-loved dish.
