Lady Jane's Ice Cream Parlour is an iconic Rotorua ice cream shop which has been serving up tasty treats for over 30 years. Located on the corner of Tutanekai St and Whakaue St, they are open rain or shine but can get very busy on summer days when visitors and locals line up to choose from over 50 delicious flavours.

They also sell sundae’s, smoothies, coffee, pancakes, hot dogs, fudge, banana boats, hot chocolates and more.

Try a scoop of their cookies and cream served in a Danish waffle cone which can be enjoyed on one of their outside tables.

They also run a bike hire service

I’ve been going to Lady Jane’s since I was a kid and I STILL get excited about going here. Not only is the selection amazing, but the ice cream is so tasty, and… it’s right by the Lake Rotorua Waterfront so you can grab your ice cream and then go for a stroll.

    Amazing strawberry thickshakes! Only an hour or so away from Taupo, this place brings back old school American style milkshakes. If your tooth is feeling extra sweet, try their ambrosia ice-cream too. So, so yum!
