Lighthouse Brewery is one of the smallest breweries in New Zealand. Owner and chief brewer Dick Tout brews 200 litres at a time from his Echodale Place microbrewery. 

Dick’s beer has won critical acclaim from both national and international beer tasters. 

He loves showing visitors his brewery and especially enjoys giving them a taste of his pilsners, stouts, lagers and dark beers.

    I know I am a sucker for a good local beer, and you don't get more local than Lighthouse. owner Dick Tout only makes enough beer for his own customers - you won't find it on the shelves in the supermarket. He has a great range,including stout, pale ale. lager and bitter, and does a wonderful beer tasting experience. Lighthouse is the smallest brewery in New Zealand and it's right here in Nelson.
