Lim Chhour is a very handy local supply for any Asian grocery supplies. They have a large range of fresh fruit and vegetables, an excellent frozen dumpling selection, tofu, pastes of every variety, noodles, dried fungi, coconut milks, a butchery and a whole lot of other mind boggling ingredients.

I happen to be one of the lucky ones who works on Krd and can make a daily trip to Lim Chhour to pick up fresh fruit and veges before heading home. You should be jealous. You will not find better value for money anywhere in the central city. Forget about the Pak n Save stick man and his price compare commercials, Lim Chhour blows the competition right out of the water. I mean where else can a vege loving vegetarian buy their weeks worth of veges for under $10?

There is nothing flash about this place, but the biggest selection of asian condiments, foods both fresh and preserved you will find in the Auckland CBD and if you need any plateware, flatware or plastic and bamboo accessories they've got those as well.

In the Lim Chhour food court is a surprising stall in Salam. Serving authentic middle eastern cuisine my favourites are the tagines. Meltingly tender slow cooked meat and fish served with the most delicious plate of spiced rice.

Ridiculously cheap fruit and veges here, great quality. They also have an amazing array of asian groceries, and American candy!
