I was hungry and tired. The nephews were hungry and seemingly never going to run out of energy. Lonestar was the perfect solution. Great kids' menu!

      Have been here a couple of times now and its great. The Lone Star Loaf is by far a winner in my eyes. The Dixie Chicken and the Ribs are also up there as well. Although the restaurant can get very busy esp on nights where they have offered the GRABAMEAL Deal you are never left waiting too long. And the food makes up for it anyway if you do.

        Really nice food, good sized servings and friendly staff. Get in early because there are no bookings-first in first served

          The upstairs waiting area is pretty good - and I would definitley recommend a garlic bread to fill in time! And don't forget about a cheese cake too... only if you can fit it after the massive meal!

            So we don'e get out to the North Shore much, and when we do it's usually for a catch up with a bunch of friends. That being said we were already pretty amped up at the adventure of getting out there and looking forward to seeing what the Lone Star had to offer. They were awesome! From the Wild West(ish) decor to the uber friendly staff and massive meals everything went off without a hitch. I've been to a few of the restaurants since, but the North Shore one holds a special place for me!

              If you're keen on a big style meal, Lonestar can always be relied on, however not always the greatest for a nicer quiet meal. Great fit out and a good atmosphere if you're in the right mood. Service can be a little slow.
