Had the famous fried chicken - comes in a small bowl with two dipping sauces and even though it looks small, it's surprisingly filling! The sparkling sangria is excellent. Staff are generally helpful and the atmosphere is really great! Would definitely come back again.

    Love this place it is def one of my favourite places to go now, so cheap such good food is a very busy place and you cant book tables which is rough but its worth the wait....

      Been here twice. Once for a dinner party and then lunch with the wife. Loved it both times. The decor is cool as with a mexico pop theme. The service and food is all good. The sizes are small but cheap, more of a tapas feel. Great for a dinner party or lunch

        I wasn’t too sure about this place to start with but by the end of the night I was sold! The food was delicious, great sharing items with delicious flavors. They make an amazing virgin margarita with yum vanilla salt on the rim. The service was average but that was ok you didn’t really go there/expect great service. Would definitely go back. They don’t take bookings so you have to chance a table. They have a great/funky basement bar to wait in while waiting for a table. Overall a great experience.

                Britomart Precinct’s Mexico and it’s sister restaurant in Takapuna are always humming, and the latter take bookings (with a set ‘Fiesta’ menu) for groups of over 10. The atmosphere at both venues is always amazing, the margaritas strong and the fare plentiful and well priced. Get in early though, or face a wait of up to two hours for a space on busy nights.

                  Used the free soft shell taco voucher here today after signing up to their online mail list. Was very loud and busy just after 12pm- when they opened! Obviously very popular. Could see why. Service was prompt, staff very friendly and food delicious. Definitely wish to return

                    Came here on a Monday night expecting it to be pretty quiet. It was packed however, which shows just how popular it is. The decor is great, and although the menu is limited and the food very simple, the quesidillas we had were still very tasty. The desserts were also yummy. All the food was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly.
