This place is wicked cool! For anyone who has a strict diet or fussy friends you should take them here! Vegan and gluten free and dairy free options available on pretty much everything! They have sweet treats too which look delightful. The portions from the menu dishes are small as well so you don't feel too guilty. Personally recommend any of the bowls, Mexican, Jamaican or Indian. I know they change up the menu sometimes but it is definitely worth a visit. It's a big venue with a relaxed atmosphere, even though it's downtown it's quiet and feels like a little retreat into a little tree hut with delicious organic foods and aromas.
Excellent healthy option in the city! I am so impressed with Misters, it is the God-send Queen Street has needed for so long as the range of healthy and allergy conscious eateries is few and far between. Top notch coffee, lovely service and a great range of tasty, ethnic meal options each catering to all dietary requirements. Portions a little on the smaller size, but I felt content and healthy - plus there are yummy sides you can add to your meal. The vegan iced mocha was a perfect way to start my Saturday morning. Made with espresso (amen to double shot coffee), cacao paste, coconut sugar syrup, coconut "ice cream", vanilla bean and hazelnut mylk. I sometimes wish I worked in the CBD so that I could have an excuse to pop into Misters every lunch time for some real food goodness. The team in the kitchen take a pretty different approach to food - producing all natural, gluten free meals that taste so good it's hard to believe it's all healthy. I had the Thai bowl the other day which included all sorts of yum stuff like Kaffir, Lime, Chili, Coconut Soubise (whatever that is) and slow cooked beef. I was in Thailand for a month recently and this ranks among my favourite Thai meals I've ever had. It's that good. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the actual cafe looks awesome with heaps of rough brick walls, varnished timber and even a hanging harden. Definitely my favourite spot in the CBD for lunch!
